Our Story

Hey there! We're the Thiels. I (Alyssa) have always had a love for interior design and home decor, even as a child when I could be found rearranging and updating my bedroom. In 2012, we moved into our first home and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to make our house a beautiful and cozy home in which we could start our lives together. My love for beautifying our space came together with my inclination for DIY projects and decorating that first home lead to a business idea. With Danny’s help, I realized that there were other people who would love these decor pieces I was creating, but they didn’t have the time or skill to create them themselves. Thus, Dwell Home Shoppe was born.

For the last 8+ years, we have been improving the craft and creating home decor items that not only make other people’s homes beautiful, but that have heart and meaning behind them and help our customer’s celebrate the most precious moments in their lives.
